Recipe for a Nice Evening

1 Dijon-encrusted rack of lamb (I'm pretty sure that this is what I would cook if I was ever on Hell's Kitchen and had to cook my "signature dish")
1 heaping dish of mashed potatoes
1 bunch of asparagus
1 bottle of nice wine from Washington
2 scoops of chocolate ice cream
2 cuddlesome cats
1 project (hanging curtains)
1 Victor Borge Special

... a pretty nice way to spend the first evening we've had at home together in a long time.

no it's not hanging curtains that provokes hard words, it's hanging WALLPAPER... :-)

Well, WH had already hung the rods, so all we had to do was hem them. There was some tension when we discovered the the first panel we hemmed and the second panel we hemmed were an inch apart in length, but we figured it out eventually.

And yes, I did post the lamb recipe on a Trader Tuesday, I think!

That sounds absolutely delicious! I don't eat meat but when I did my husband's lamb was always one of my favorite treats.
