How I know I'm meant to be a mother...

When I see the University students walking by outside, and they're poorly dressed for the cold, I have to fight the urge to yank open my window and scream, "WHERE ARE YOUR MITTENS?!"

Like CR, I resonate with this, too. I always want to know (here in south TX) WHY the kids are wearing flip-flops when it's in the 40s and 50s! Which I know sounds "warm" to you, but to us, it's not.

LOL!

I think things like this, too. Then I remember that I used to prefer looking good to being warm and I feel old.

I am reminded of the advice of the late Maj Andrew Roberts. "It requires no skill to be cold, wet and miserable."

So now I wear my gloves. Usually.
